Work that matters

Working at Cincy at the Well is not a typical nonprofit job. We go to places most people avoid and build relationships most people don’t have time for. Our team shows up week after week because the women we serve deserve consistency, dignity, and the hope of the Gospel.

Every person on our staff carries a shared conviction: that Jesus meets people in the hardest places, and that we are privileged to go with Him.

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” — Matthew 9:37–38

What we look for in every hire

Skills matter, but character comes first. Every member of our staff shares these commitments:

A personal, active faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with our statement of faith
Deep compassion for women in crisis, with zero tolerance for judgment
Emotional maturity and the ability to process secondary trauma with healthy supports
Reliability — our women need to trust that we show up when we say we will
Genuine team orientation — this is not solo ministry
Willingness to pass a background check (criminal history and sex offender registry)
Humility — we are servants here, not heroes
